Daniel J. Staub, CFP®

Founder and Business Consultant

Daniel Staub founded Staub Financial in 1989 with a passion to help clients build solid financial plans so that they could enjoy the fruits of their labor in retirement. After 31 years of service, Dan will partially retire in January 2021.  Moving forward, Dan will be available to consult on tax, retirement and life insurance planning but will no longer be involved in the investment side of the business. Dan will also serve as Staub Financial's Client Relationship Director, which means more golf, lunches and other social functions with existing clients.

Dan is an Albion College Alumni, a CFP® and holds his life insurance license in many states. He is one of the longest tenured independent representatives of SIGMA Financial Corporation. 

Dan looks forward to spending more time traveling and golfing with his lovely wife of more than 30 years, Pam.  

Corey A. Staub, CFPT™, AIF™

Owner and Senior Advisor

Corey A. Staub is the owner and senior advisor of Staub Financial with more than 20 years of financial service experience. He was one of the youngest representatives to be licensed at SIGMA for securities and insurance, and he earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation early in his career following a two-year Professional Program at Oakland University.  He is licensed for securities in more than 25 states, and has earned the respect of clients and helped forge strong multi-generational relationships across the U.S. Before joining Staub Financial in 1998, Corey earned a B.A. in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Combining his passion for community service with his love of golf, he founded the Staub Financial Annual Charity Golf Outing in 2003 in memory of his late grandmother.  To date, more than $300,000 has been raised for numerous charitable organizations.  He has been involved directly with the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Camp Quality of Michigan assisting children with cancer, Team Fox in the D for Parkinson's Disease, and AFG-Alternatives for Girls in Detroit.

Corey lives off of Deer Lake in the quaint Village of Clarkston, and enjoys traveling and golfing.  He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Oakhurst Country Club in Clarkston. 

Dana Casteel

Operations Manager

Dana is our “Go-to” person.  She is responsible for the marketing, communication, technology and strategic business development of the firm.  Every day, Dana brings a positive, upbeat and professional attitude to work. She leads team members to maximum performance while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics and FINRA regulatory requirements. Dana manages licensing, website development, training, event planning, the annual charity golf outing and more.

Dana brings a wealth of knowledge gained through her 15-year career at EDS/Hewlett Packard where she excelled in IT project management, corporate training and human resources.  She earned a BA from Western Michigan University with dual major in Public Relations and Spanish and speaks Spanish fluently. 

Dana lives in Brighton, Michigan with her husband, Bill and their two teenagers, Maxwell and Madeline.  She enjoys spending time at their cottage on Crooked Lake as well as cooking and gardening.

Olivia Perkey

Administrative Assistant

Olivia is the first point of contact at Staub Financial supporting clients with the highest level of integrity, honesty, care, and attention to detail.  She interacts directly with team members and clients by answering the phones, providing answers to basic client questions and guiding clients through set up and on-going use of online tools.  Olivia is responsible for scheduling client review meetings, research and generating monthly and quarterly account performance reports. Olivia recently passed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam and is preparing for the Series 7 exam which covers topics on investment risk, taxation, equity and debt instruments, packaged securities, options, and retirement plans.

Olivia spent over a decade working in the court system. She brought with her a high regard for confidentiality, accuracy and impeccable customer service which translates well into the financial industry.

Olivia and her family live in Hartland, Michigan and enjoy being a part of the small, close-knit community. She and her husband, Aaron, have two children, Charlie, age 12 and Vivian, age 3.

Gayle Stowell

Client Services Manager

Gayle Stowell is the client services manager at Staub Financial. Gayle is deeply committed to ensuring a successful outcome for every client she works with. Her purpose is to enable others to achieve their financial goals and dreams by accurately and efficiently processing all required paperwork.  Gayle works as a liaison between Staub Financial and current clients to help maintain existing business by providing excellent customer service, confidentiality and accuracy.  Gayle plays an integral role in establishing trust and growing relationships with new clients. Gayle understands the importance of keeping the client informed throughout the process of all transactions. Gayle feels privileged to work with organizations and people to make a difference.

Gayle joined Staub Financial in 2019 with nearly 20 years of experience assisting wealth managers and attending to client needs in the financial service arena.  Gayle is FINRA licensed in the State of Michigan holding a Series 6, 63, as well as Health and Life Insurance Licenses.  

Gayle resides in Rochester, Michigan with her husband Ron, and their Great Dane, Max. In her spare time, she enjoys outside activities based on the season, such as, snowboarding, boating, gardening, walking the dog and traveling.
